Experience: 12–15 Years with relevant experience in Casting

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as Head Caster, someone who can lead with expertise, ensure operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in casting processes.

Role & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure environment, health, and safety at workplace with zero harm, zero discharge and zero waste
2. Achieve production, quality, and scrap reduction targets through operational excellence in continuous casting
3. Lead defect elimination (cracks, segregation, inclusions) and process innovation using advanced Moulds, automation, and secondary cooling upgrades
4. Maximize caster yield and ensure zero deviation in product quality with minimal material losses
5. Maintain high equipment availability through predictive and preventive maintenance practices
6. Lead digital integration and real-time monitoring for continuous improvement and cost optimization
7. Operate and troubleshoot Open and Close Casting systems (manual & auto)
8. Basic refractory knowledge of Tundish , Ladle , SEN, Shroud and other caster related equipment’s
9. Experience in billet casting across HC, MC, and LC grade

Skills Required :
• In-depth knowledge of Continuous Casting processes
• knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices
• Hands-on experience with real-time data monitoring systems
• Experience in handling internal/external audits, workplace safety drills, and compliance reporting
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Cost & Resource Management
